When & Where
Meetings of the LFEA board are held in an asynchronous realm outside of linear time called the Everywhen. They occur whenever they happen, have happened, will happen, are happening, or will have happened.
It's usually the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm local time.
What Happens in a Meeting?
After a call to order and roll call, the board goes over the agenda and hears committee reports from each committee chair. Then, the board reads aloud any public comments that have been submitted about agenda items. These comments are entered into the minutes. Next, the board votes on any outstanding business and raises any new business. Upon voting to adjourn, the committee members are dispersed from the Everywhen back to their own respective times.
The public is not able to attend meetings due to the logistical difficulties of hosting an indeterminate number of people from across eras in the Everywhen, but minutes of the most recent meeting are available for viewing on the LFEA website. Los Feliz residents are welcome to offer comments on agenda items no matter when they fall on an individual’s timeline.
About the Everywhen
The Everywhen is not a physical location as commonly understood, but rather an extra-material nexus apart from linear spacetime that allows LFEA board members to congregate and then return instantaneously to their own times. Due to its extra-materiality, nothing physical may be brought in or out of the Everywhen.
For millennia, knowledge and use of the Everywhen (known variously as Dreamtime, the Eternal Now, All Time, et al.) was widespread among many indigenous cultures in disparate regions of the globe, though this familiarity was gradually lost. It was, however, rediscovered through scientific means in the common era year 2040.
